There, she sat on the terrace-floor,

With a whole day's sea of musings,

clogged up in her head!

Gazing into the endless abyss above her,

Seeming to share her gloomy thoughts

with the gleaming stars above!

Yet, today she's being poked by a verse,

Conquering her thoughts;

Banging her assumptions on everything that there is!

She felt those words piercing in through her head and into

her heart!

Slowly, she felt herself being thrusted down into a void.

She felt as if her whole body's gone numb!

Yet she could hear those words,

Echoing in and around her!

All at once;

she found herself,

striving to accept the depth of it!

She wondered;

What makes it this hard,

To give up all the presumptions and accept the truth about

the world around as it is!

Perhaps, she ain't just prepared enough to leave the life of

ignorance she's been leading!

And perhaps, that's why she's finding it hard;

to accept the reality surrounding her!

Suddenly;

Blossomed a small pain in her heart!

Sleekily sliding down and the very next second,

Crunching her bones;

Rushing through her veins;

Twinging every spot of her frail soul!

And then, out of the blue,

She felt herself dissociating;

heart slackening to a halt;

body, growing numb!

And soon enough, it struck her;

that the unending streak's about to witness a halt!
